Joao Felix has finally removed Chelsea from his Instagram bio. The Portuguese striker, who was on loan from Chelsea since January, scored only four goals in the Premier League during his time at the club. He had a very good debut against Fulham though but was sent off after he committed a very reckless tackle. Despite showing his affection for Stamford Bridge, it appears that Chelsea have made the decision to move on without him, especially with the recent signing of Christopher Nkunku from Leipzig. Nkunku's goal-scoring abilities surpass those of Joao Felix.

Joao Felix has about 8.8 million followers on Instagram as at July 2023, despite removing Chelsea from his Instagram bio Joao Felix is yet to add Atletico Madrid to his Instagram bio. Joao Felix is currently contracted to Atletico Madrid but it's not a secret that he no longer loves it there and will most likely look for a transfer away from Atletico Madrid before the end of the summer.

Recently, Joao Felix was spotted wearing a West Ham shirt alongside Said Benrahma. In another video, he was seen hastily removing Atletico Madrid's training kit in a fit of anger. These actions indicate his dissatisfaction with his current role under Simeone and his desire for a new challenge elsewhere. Several clubs have been linked to Joao Felix, including Paris St Germain, Manchester United, and even Newcastle.

Despite Joao Felix's absence in the second half of the season, Atletico Madrid performed well, finishing in third place, just one point behind second-placed Real Madrid. Joao Felix is hoping to fulfill the high expectations set for him during his time at Benfica. Having progressed through the ranks of Porto and Benfica's youth systems, he was even awarded the Golden Boy award in 2019.
