Kovacic and Croatia have cruised through to another final. They were the dominant side, condemning a dispirited Netherlands team. The Dutch team was far from convincing and was heavily dominated by Kovacic, alongside various teammates like Modric, Brozovic, Perisic, and others.

Kovacic, who has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, had a decent game. Although he was the first player to be booked in the game, he didn't let that affect his performance. He combined well with the ageless Modric and Brozovic in midfield.

Kovacic was substituted in the 85th minute when Croatia was leading 2-1. The Croatian coach thought the game was wrapped up, but the Netherlands managed to score a last-minute goal during the six minutes of added time. However, Croatia scored two more goals in the extra 30 minutes to brush aside the Dutch team.

Up next for Kovacic and his Croatian teammates is a match against either Spain or Italy. They will be hoping to win an international trophy this time. Despite their small population, Croatia has been an overachiever, and this team, capable of taking on European giants, aims to go one step further by winning a trophy.

Kovacic has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge and is set to join Pep Guardiola at Man City, as earlier reported by Fabrizio Romano. Kovacic has already agreed personal terms with Man City and both clubs are just waiting to reach an agreement. Chelsea fans are eagerly waiting for further information regarding the transfer. Meanwhile, Chelsea are open to selling Kovacic.
